ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS
When you advertise with Misawajapan.com, here's what you get:
- I'll provide a link from our Misawa Merchants page to your web site.
- I'll also provide a link to your web pages from the weekly Misawa Events newsletter (over 850 subscribers).
- If you don't have a site, I'll build you one and link to it. You have two options in this respect.
- We can build your pages and load them on my server but you will not have your own URL. Your link would look like http://www.misawajapan.com/yourbusiness. This might be OK if you won't promote your site and don't care about search engine posting.
- Get your own domain name and web host. If you are serious about growing your business, this is the option for you. We will build your pages and load them to http://www.YourBusinessName.com. You can purchase a domain name for $9 a year through my web hosting site. You can also get a web host for as little as $10 per month. This option gets you some important things that option 1 can't give you.
- Business Name Recognition
- Control over your own pages
- Make changes or update whenever you like
- Search Engine recognition (However, no one can guarantee how good the listing will be.)
- Site Statistics (hits and page views, demographic, etc)
- I'll mention items of interest (sales, specials, etc) in our weekly Misawa Events newsletter.
- I promote my site and that, in turn, helps bring folks to your page.
- You can also put your web page address in your advertising and on your business cards.You can update your info up to twice per month just by dropping me an email. Last month, MisawaJapan.com had over 7,000 unique hits with over 20,000 page views.
- All of this for only $50 (¥5000) per month. This will give you 24/7 exposure to the Misawa base community and a listing in the weekly newsletter which has over 900 subscribers plus many who access it directly from the main page. Additional pages or extra features may increase this monthly fee based on the amount of server space your pages require.

If I build your pages, there is a one time set-up fee of $25 per hour. This includes everything necessary to get your basic web page online. (Extra features such as rotating graphics, etc may add additional cost to the set-up fee.)

All contracts will be for a minimum of three months time.
A page will consist of photos and info consistent with a particular theme or event. Pages will not scroll for an unreasonable length. For example, if a night spot has a food menu, a drink menu and an entertainment schedule, that would probably be 3 pages. However, if a place had a drink menu and a statement that snacks were available or a statement like “Nightly Entertainment”, that could all go on 1 page. Everything is negotiable.
A business page will contain not more than 3 photos along with text information. Photo are large and will slow down the time it takes a page to load. A killer for any business.
Advanced coding such as flash animation, scrolling photos, etc will incur an additional fee that can be discussed.
All above rules can be adjusted on a case-by-case basis in an effort to meet a client’s unique desires.
