I've been told its a great place to spend the day with the kids but I haven't been there myself. But, thanks to Neal and Amande Thompson, I do have some info.

The Park has rides (most of which cost 100 Yen to ride). The roller coaster and the Gas Powered Go-Carts costs 300 Yen and an adult must be with the kids to ride. You can get a book of 11 tickets for 1100 Yen. There are picninc tables (be prepared to take your garbage home with you). Vending machines are available where you can get ice cream and cold drinks. Also, there is a place to get something like icees and some Japanese snacks.

To get there:
  • take the Michinoku Bypass #2 to Hachinohe and exit onto Route 45.
  • When you come to a "T" intersection with Sega World in front of you and a Japanese Post Office next to it, turn right. You will still be on Rt 45. Continue straight and get into the right-hand lane.
  • After a few blocks you will come to an intersection with a Konaka on the right-hand side and a Pachinko Parlor on the far-right side. Turn right.
  • Follow this road until you see an AutoBacs Store on the right and a Homac Store on the left. At the next intersection there is a Co-op store. Turn left.
  • You will soon cross a bridge and come to an intersection with a Sunkus Store on the right. Turn right.
  • When the road splits, take the left fork and continue up a winding, uphill road by the river.
  • This road ends at a "T" intersection. Turn right and you will see a sign in Japanese with a red arrow pointing to the left. This sign is for Children's Land. In Japanese it is called Kodomo no Kuni.
  • Turn left following the arrow. On the right there is a sign for Kodomo no Kuni and one for a hospital. Turn right. Parking is a few hundred meters beyond this turn on the right side of the road.
